California Collaborative for Educational Excellence (CCEE)

Students With Disabilities Collective

The CCEE is spearheading a statewide effort in partnership with the California Department of Education to address ‘systems coherency,’ i.e. helping districts develop clear, consistent structures so that each and every student receives a high-quality education.

CA School Dashboard data reveals that our public schools need to do much more to support the unique needs of our students with disabilities. Our collective approach as a state will be to focus on uncovering solutions to better support these young people based on the strong belief that when districts improve teaching and learning for students with disabilities, then all children will succeed because educators are finally tackling deep-rooted, systemic issues.
